Waiting list: privacy

Last updated 10 October 2026

This notice covers the Freeboard waiting list and the visit counter of this site and of the demo. The data in a Freeboard dashboard and the bank connection will have their own notice before early access starts.

Who is responsible

Bytelegion OÜ (registry code 16905507), Männimäe/1, Pudisoo küla, Kuusalu vald, Harju maakond, 74626 Estonia. Contact: info@bytelegion.site.

What we keep

Your email address, the language of the page you used, the date you joined and where your visit came from: the source and campaign of the link you followed (for example instagram/bio) or the name of the website that linked here. That last one says which link brought you, not who you are. To limit abuse we count the attempts per hour with a code derived from your connection that changes every hour; the address of your connection itself is not stored.

Why

Only to write to you when you can start using Freeboard. No newsletter, no ads, no sharing with anyone, no tracking of individual visitors. The basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by removing your email.

Visit counter

This site and the demo count visits with a counter on our own server, with no cookies and no outside services: how many times a day each page is seen, the demo is opened and someone joins the list, and where the visits came from (the campaign of the link or the name of the website, as above). It doesn’t store IP addresses or identifiers, so the numbers can’t be traced back to you; we use them only to see which links and posts bring people to Freeboard. On your device the site keeps only the link you came from, in this browser tab and until you close it (session storage, not a cookie), so that the form can send it with your email. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, your visit isn’t counted.

Where

On the servers of Bytelegion, which hosts this site and Freeboard.

How long

Until you remove it, and no longer than the waiting list is needed.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data by writing to info@bytelegion.site, and you can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

Remove my email

Write the address you used: it is removed from the list straight away. For privacy, the answer is the same whether or not the address was on the list.
